Uta Paszkowski is Professor of Plant Molecular Genetics in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Crop Science Centre, where she also leads the Cereal Symbiosis Group.
In her research, Paszkowski focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying the formation and functioning of AM symbioses in rice and maize. This work aims at developing knowledge to optimize the incorporation of the AM-symbiosis into sustainable yet modern agricultural practices.
