Tim Lewens is Professor of Philosophy of Science in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge.
He works across evolutionary theory, bioethics, and the social implications of scientific research. Lewens has led major international research projects and contributed extensively to public policy through his roles in national ethics bodies. His academic leadership includes senior positions supporting interdisciplinary research across the humanities and social sciences.
Lewens is a member of the AEGIS Ethics Advisory board.
