Sieg Snapp

Sieg Snapp is the Associate Dean for Research at Washington State University’s College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS). As a cropping systems scientist, she promotes transdisciplinary approaches to designing sustainable agrifood systems.
In her work, Snapp is championing new research approaches urgently needed in a rapidly changing world, including public–private partnerships, living labs for participatory action research, systems science, transdisciplinary teams, and on farm research supported by big data analytics. She has also partnered with national institutions across Africa for more than two decades to advance crop diversification, soil health and fertility, and sustainable value chains.
Sieg Snapp is a member of the AEGIS Scientific Advisory Board.
