Robbie Waugh is Professor and former Director of the International Barley Hub at the James Hutton Institute, and Emeritus Professor of Plant Genetics and Genomics at the University of Dundee.
Waugh develops and applies approaches that enable genetic and genomic analyses to address a wide range of questions in plant biology. He has made major contributions to advancing barley both as a cereal crop and as a model for the Triticeae research and commercial sectors. He plays a leading role in the barley genetics and genomics community.
