Drude Morthorst Rasmussen (she/her) is a Research Assistant at the Globe Institute, University of Copenhagen.
Her work focuses on issues related to access and benefit-sharing, data governance, sustainable agriculture, ecological risks, and research reciprocity within the field of ancient enviornmental DNA (aeDNA). Drawing on previous experience at the Danish Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Green Transition, she is particularly interested in how aeDNA research can best contribute to a sustainable agri-food transition.
Rasmussen supports the AEGIS Ethics Advisory Board through research on the ethical dimensions of aeDNA research.
